Customize Database (Database Designer):

Database Designer

To customize the database fields, on the Tools menu, select Customize and choose Database Designer. cBizOne application closes and reopens in the design mode.

Changing Entity Captions

• To change the captions of the entities double click on any of the entity and change the Caption to desired name.
• Caption/Singular Caption replaces all the possible occurrences inside the application with the caption you choose here.
• If you like to remove/hide a entity in your folder list click on the Hide check box.

Edit/Modify Field properties

• To change the captions of the Field names first select the entity you want to change for and then click on the Database Fields tab.
• Select the field and click on Open on the menu or double click on the field and change the Caption/List View Caption.
• You can change the Field Size and the Default Value if it is enabled.
• To remove/hide a field from the application check Hide .
• To delete a field completely from the application click on Delete if it is enabled.

Create New Field

• To create a new field click New on the menu and enter field Name in the caption and select the Data Type such as text/date/integer etc. Also if you click on Usage drop down box then you can select if it is a phone number or date for auto reminders.
• Use the Form Designer to place the new fields created at the desired location.
